It’s been a while since I played Max Payne. I only played the first game too (there was a sequal wasn’t there?) My memory is fuzzy, I remember lots of bullet time effects and comic story panels.
I don’t remember much, if anything resembling this.
Except maybe the bedroom murder scene. Oh yeah, and there was some trippy lame jumping puzzle with invisible platforms at one point.
Don’t get me wrong, the movie looks interesting, it just doesn’t evoke what I remember of Max Payne.
Also Marky Mark is Max Payne. I love love LOVE The Big Hit.
